On behalf of the Office of Admission, I am writing to offer our thanks to the entire Ithaca College community. This past semester, we hosted four Open Houses for 1,428 prospective students and their guests (2,011). We want to thank YOU for all of your work to make these programs a success!
The Office of Admission is fortunate and grateful to have campus partners that assist us in working with prospective students and families so they can make informed decisions about their college choice. We cannot express how much your energy, time, and commitment mean to us.
In closing, I want to share that we received many compliments regarding the College, the programs, our outreach, friendliness, and our professionalism throughout all of our contact with these families. Following are a sampling of the comments we've received regarding our Open House programs this fall:
- The open house sealed the deal for me. Ithaca College was already at the top of my list, and now I am absolutely sure that IC is where I want to be for college.
- This was an amazing experience for my first college visit. The campus is beautiful and the students and staff are overly welcoming. Their enthusiasm and dedication have pushed me to work hard to get into Ithaca College.
- I feel that my search is over. I am certain that I would be very successful at Ithaca if accepted.
- It was a pleasure to come to Ithaca. I am so happy that I came. I had a blast and the experience completely changed my view about which college is at the top of my list. It is a perfect fit for me and I am so glad to have found a college that matches me!
- The people there are amazing and very open about their experience at Ithaca. I can’t wait to go to IC. LETS GO BOMBERS !!
- Everybody at the school was very welcoming. Both of my parents and I mentioned that we got a good vibe from everything in the school. The campus is beautiful and I was very impressed with the presentations. I can picture myself easily attending this school in the fall.
- Open house seemed to be very reflective of the high quality reputation.
- By attending the open house I was able to see that Ithaca College would be a good fit to my personality and could provide me with a prosperous future due to the vast alumni networking and commitment to the students’ learning.
- The program was run very smoothly. All the sessions were informative and the food offered was delicious. I will be submitting an application within the next few weeks.
- I am floored. I absolutely fell in love with Ithaca College because of this visit. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
- I had an incredible time at Ithaca and I am very grateful that I was given the opportunity to make my dream of visiting Ithaca a reality.
- After this visit, Ithaca went from a college I was considering to my number one school. Thank you for a great day!
