Photographic Projects in Italy (Photographic Currents, CPMA 20500 - 3 credits) With Professor Nicholas Muellner May 25th to June 15th, 2017 Priority Application Deadline: December 5th This program provides students with an opportunity to continue their study of photography and historical and contemporary art, working in the incomparably rich cultural settings of Rome, Italy. Program includes an extended trip to the Venice Biennale – the largest and most important international contemporary art exposition in the world. This course satisfies an Art History elective requirement in the BS Still Photography and BFA in Film, Photography and Visual Art degrees. No prerequisites; open to students from across the college, with preference given to those with course experience in photography, film, visual art, and art history, but not required.
