 As of Mon Dec 12, Mail Services for students are modified in the following ways

All Mailrooms are closed until the start of Spring Semester.

  • Letter mail received during Finals Week is available for pickup in the Mail Center by Public Safety. (Mail Received before Finals is still available in mailboxes)
  • After Finals Week, all mail will be pulled from mailboxes and forwarded home.
  • All new mail received the week of 12/19-22 will be forwarded home.
  • All mail received after the college reopens on 1/3 will be held in the Mail Center for the remainder of Winter Break.
  • Sorting to mailboxes will resume at the start of Spring Semester.

Packages

  • During Finals Week, all packages (including those for Circles residents) are available for pickup at Phillips Hall Post Office (830am-430pm)
  • For the duration of Winter Break, all packages received will be held in the Phillips Hall Post Office or the Mail Center. NOTE for residents in Circles Apartments, Garden Apartments, Emerson Hall, and Bogart Hall - you will not receive emails as your packages will be temporarily held in the Mail Center until the start of Spring Semester when they are moved to their scheduled mailrooms for pickup.

If you need to have mail or packages forwarded home during Winter Break, please call the Mail Center at 607-274-3371, or email us at icmailservice@ithaca.edu.

Mail Services will be closed from Fri Dec 23 - Mon Jan 2 for the college's holiday break. We will reopen on Tues Jan 3.
