Campus Chorus is open to all students to enjoy choral singing!Contributed by Susan Avery on 01/23/17 Calling all current and would-be singers! Here’s an opportunity for all Ithaca College students who enjoy singing: Please consider joining The Campus Choral Ensemble (CCE), which is designed for non-music majors to continue or start their choral experience.
The Campus Chorus performs medium-high difficulty level of quality literature from many genres and times. There are no auditions or expectations of music reading (although it is extremely helpful to have some experience in it). Campus Chorus rehearses every Tuesday evening from 6:05-7:55 in the Whalen Music building room 3104 (“Beeler”) and students may take this course for 0, .5, or 1 credit. Everyone must register, however, so you may sign out music folders. Come and join us – there is a concert at the end of each semester that is live-streamed over the web!
Individuals with disabilities requiring accommodations should contact the CCE conductor Dr. Avery in the School of Music #2323 at 274-3785 or savery@ithaca.edu. We ask that requests for accommodations be made as soon as possible.
