For those of you who participated in a healthcare or dependent care FSA (Flexible Spending Account) in 2016, this is a reminder that any claims to those funds must be made by March 31, 2017. Spending account funds are "use it or lose it" according to IRS regulations.  Any unused funds will be forfeited.  

You can view your FSA account balances and account activity on Aetna Navigator by visiting www.aetna.com or by visiting www.payflex.com. You can also call Aetna directly at 877-392-3862. Claim forms can be downloaded here.  For a complete listing of eligible expenses please click here. 

Again, the claims submission deadline for 2016 expenses is March 31, 2017. Claims must be received by this date, this is not a postmarked date.  2016 claims received after March 31, 2107, will not be processed.
