RLCs offer a community environment where students share passions and academic interests.  Students have the opportunity to participate in community programs and trips and work with faculty fellows for mentorship and support.

RLCs and specialty housing offered next year include:

• Housing Offering a Multicultural Experience (HOME) - Eastman, 1st & 2nd floors – for students interested in experiencing a diverse learning environment and learning about different cultures
• Honors - Lyon – For students interested in sharing academic experiences and support
• Outdoor Adventure - T8, 1st floor – for students interested in outdoor skills and activities
• Organic Gardening & Cooking - T8, 2nd floor – for students interested in planting and harvesting the rooftop garden and enjoying organic community meals together
• Interfaith - T5, 2nd floor – for students interested in exploring faith through service, dinner, and discussion
• La Casa - T5, 1st Floor – for students who want to immerse themselves in the Spanish & Italian cultures and languages
• Quiet Study - T5, 3rd floor – for students who appreciate a calm residential environment conducive to studying
• Substance-Free - T5, 1st floor – for students interested in committing to substance-free living
• Transfer - T11, 1st floor – for students interested in connecting with the transfer student community

Interested? Please join us for our Residential Learning Community Open Houses scheduled for the evening of Wednesday, February 22nd! Take an escorted tour, leaving from your FYRE building, to the Residential Learning Community of your choice. You will get to see room options, lounge spaces, and meet others who are interested in that community too. Look for more information about tour times in your building as the date approaches.

Applications are being accepted on HomerConnect beginning January 23rd, 2017 through March 7th, 2017.
