Got WI? Sign up for WRTG 21700 Inquiry, Research, & Writing (WI, III, HU)Contributed by Susan Delaney on 01/14/17 Join us in WRTG 21700 Inquiry, Research, & Writing Across the Disciplines (T/Th 4-5:15) as we analyze how new ideas circulate as we practice strategies for productive inquiry and effective writing. This Writing Intensive course fulfills the Humanities perspective within the Inquiry, Imagination, Innovation theme. In WRTG 21700 we look beyond the final written product—that paper with the bibliography and citations—to learn how and why writing is used in the process of research. We’ll ask the tough questions: What does research (both process and final written product) look like in different fields? What does it mean to be an expert? How can we contribute to conversations in our disciplines? Open to students who have satisfied the Academic Writing requirement.
