Career Services Workshop - Networking in Practice

 You’ve probably heard by now that networking is the key to opening doors for internships and jobs, but you may still be wondering WHERE and HOW to make these connections. From meeting employers at career fairs, interacting with alumni, to approaching people for informational interviews, come and learn basic strategies of effective networking from a student and staff perspective. You will then have the opportunity to practice these skills with your peers in a safe, non-judgmental atmosphere for the remainder of the workshop. To make the most of the experience, please come dressed business professional.

What time: 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM

Where: Clark Lounge

In order to attend you must register in advance, using your Handshake account. SLI credit workshops require advance registration at least 24 hours in advance.
