Office of Analytics and Institutional Research (AIR) Open HouseContributed by Leslie D'Arcy on 01/20/17 Posted on behalf of Dr. Yuko Mulugetta, Chief Analytics Officer It is with great pleasure we announce the official start of the Office of Analytics and Institutional Research (AIR) and cordially invite you to our open house celebration on Friday, January 27, from 2 to 4 pm in the Enrollment Management suite on the second floor of the Peggy Ryan Williams Center. The Office of Analytics and Institutional Research is a reconfiguration of the former offices of Institutional Research and Enrollment Planning. It is led by Chief Analytics Officer, Dr. Yuko Mulugetta, and Associate Directors, Claire Borch (IR focus) and Cole Gruberth (Enrollment and Retention focus). Research Analysts, Duane Corbin and Elijah Earl, are responsible for IR focused projects while Sr. Research Analyst, Peggy McKernan focuses on retention-related projects. The Office of AIR collaborates extensively across the college as a strategic partner so that we can expand our understanding of the student experience, student learning outcomes, and student success. It also collaboratively leads efforts to develop an enterprise data warehouse and a data governance system. Finally, AIR works with a wide range of constituencies to apply predictive analytics to inform decision making. At the open house, Chief Analytics Officer, Dr. Yuko Mulugetta, will offer a brief overview at 2:30 pm which will give the campus community an opportunity to see the breadth of data and analytics efforts across campus. The AIR team will be available to answer your questions and provide demonstrations. Please plan to join us for light refreshments and to see some of our exciting projects. Individuals with disabilities requiring accommodations should contact Leslie D'Arcy at ldarcy@ithaca.edu or (607) 274-1555. We ask that requests for accommodations be made as soon as possible. |
