The Ultimate Weakness of Violence" is a theme taken from the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s last book, "Where Do We Go From Here: Chaos or Community?" (1967). During the IC MLK Celebration Week 2017, we are requesting the campus community to use the hashtag #ICMLK on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.  Social media users are asked to place this hashtag on trending videos, tweets, articles, pages, and posts that highlight the realities we face living in a world where it seems violence is the acceptable norm. The hashtag can be used to bring visibility to acts of violence in its various forms, showcase community, national, and international organizations that are working through anti-violence strategies, promote local and global dialogues around violence, and other resources for the campus community.
