"Gender Revolution: A Journey with Katie Couric": a community screening and discussion February 8th, in Textor 101, from 7-9 pm. Free and open to the public.

In January 2017, National Geographic published a special  issue on gender, featuring photos, text, and graphics related to gender expressions around the world. This was to be followed by a TV special in February - Gender Revolution: A Journey with Katie Couric. IC has acquired the documentary for a special community screening of this program, to be held on February 8th, in Textor 101, from 7-9 pm. A discussion will follow the 90-minute screening and be led by Carla Golden, Coordinator of Women’s and Gender Studies and Luca Maurer, Program Director of the LGBT Center. Golden and Maurer will bring an intersectional feminist/queer critique to this mainstream production.
