 DIIS will be hosting three Lynda.com Workshops by Laurie Burruss from Lynda on Thursday February 23rd at the times listed below. Focusing on three topics, they allow the campus community a chance to see the possibilities for the use of Lynda.com inside and outside of the classrooms.

With Lynda.com, our campus community has access to over 4,000 video courses, covering a wide range of topics from Accounting to Web Development.

 Laurie Burruss is a professor emeritus at Pasadena City College and a consultant in education at Lynda.com, where she advocates for academic initiatives, supported teaching and learning, and provided integration and implementation solutions since 2009. Laurie evangelizes all things education and learning. Before working at Lynda.com, she served for 22 years as a professor in Interaction Design and as the director of the Pasadena City College Digital Media, serving the state of California as a regional resource for collaboration between education, industry, and the community. Her passion is digital storytelling.
