Celebrate the new single occupancy All Gender restrooms in our building with yummy treats and LOTS AND LOTS of beverages in the LGBT Center (lower level, Hammond Health Center) on Tuesday February 21! Join us in the LGBT Center either from 

9 am-11 am for breakfast treats with coffee, tea, and other assorted beverages.
or from 
3 pm-5 pm for cake and punch, and other assorted beverages. 

Two times during the day to accommodate busy student schedules. Stop by for a few minutes, or more if you have time, and tour the new All Gender Restroom near the LGBT Resource Room. There are also 4 new All Gender restrooms near the Health Center waiting room.

Info will also be available about where to find All Gender Restrooms on campus, the importance of restrooms like these for folks of many different experiences and identities, and also regarding the upcoming Gavin Grimm US Supreme Court case which will be heard next month. The case focuses on whether transgender public school students can use the restroom appropriate to their gender identity - but it could have far reaching effects that extend to whether transgender people will be able to be a part of public life.

We welcome current IC students, staff, faculty, and any IC alumni who may be in the area to celebrate with us.
