MARK A. RADICE, Music History faculty in the School of Music, performed Bach, Komm, Gott, Schöpfer, Heiliger Geist, BWV 667; O Lamm Gottes unschuldig, BWV 656. Franck, Chorale No. 2 in B minor. Messiaen, Transports de joie d’un âme devant la gloire du Christ qui est la sienne (from l’Ascension) on Sunday, 2/26/17, at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Syracuse, N.Y. The instrument is a four-manual, 83-stop organ originally by M. P. Möller Organ company, rebuilt in 2002 by Quimby Pipe Organs. The church was built between 1884 and 1885, is made primarily of limestone and brick, with interior dimensions of 96 by 64 feet and 59 feet at its highest point giving it superb acoustics for this magnificent instrument.
