The Ithaca College Chapter of Phi Kappa Phi invites you take part in their third annual book drive. Collection will take place from March 7 to March 31 with convenient bins located throughout campus. Phi Kappa Phi is a national collegiate honor society for all academic disciplines that follows the motto “let the love of learning rule humanity.” In honor of this phrase, the Ithaca College chapter of Phi Kappa Phi will be holding a book drive on campus. Book drives are a way to draw attention to the importance of literacy and gather crucial resources for community members who would otherwise have limited access to them. All books collected this year will be donated to the local non-profit organization Friends of Tompkins County Public Library, whose proceeds benefit the Tompkins County Public Library, the Finger Lakes Library System and organizations working for literacy in Tompkins County. Collection bins will be located throughout campus from March 7 - March 31 in the following areas: Williams Hall (near the main entrance) Help make this book drive a success by donating a new or gently used book. It's an easy way to make a big difference! If you have any questions, please contact Phi Kappa Phi Student Vice President Jake Ascoli at jascoli1@ithaca.edu. |
