Dr. Brown received word from his publisher that his latest book project:Our multi-series, interdisciplinary volume entitled, "People of Color in the United States" was just named as one of "the Best Reference Books of 2016: by Library Journal.

 Dr. Brown received word from his publisher that his latest book project: Our multi-series, interdisciplinary volume entitled, "People of Color in the United States" was just names as one of "the Best Reference Books of 2016" by Library Journal.  In their review of this work, the editorial board notes, "Representing a wide range of perspectives, the articles in this set are provocative and stimulating.  They provide an outstanding overview of the current cultural, economic, political, and social forces that impact the life experiences of people of color in America...a distinguished work of succinct writing, balanced viewpoints, and effective supporting materials.
