The Ithaca College chapter of the American Marketing Association (ICAMA) was again recognized as one of the leading chapters in the country, receiving numerous awards at the 2017 AMA International Collegiate Conference in New Orleans, March 16-18.

Seven students attended and represented ICAMA at the conference.  In the main awards competition, IC received awards for Outstanding Professional Development and Outstanding Communications.  ICAMA’s entry into the eBay-sponsored Case Competition was recognized as commendable.

ICAMA really hit its stride in some of the other competitions.  The chapter was named the nationwide top chapter in the PPAI t-shirt competition for design and execution of an original promotional product.  ICAMA also received an award for the fifth-best chapter website in the country.  In addition, chapter President Kat Fischer ’17 was asked to present on effective communication strategies to an audience of over 100 other chapter leaders.

Congratulations to the entire chapter, including all who served on the 2016-2017 Executive Board, and the other students attending the conference: Robert Mantell ’18, Anushka Rajbhandari ’18, Melissa Symanski ‘18, Shaylyn Traver ’18, Kristen Vollmer ‘18, and Mori Pericon ‘19.
