On Thursday, March 23rd, the College will be holding its 27th Educational Technology Day.  This exciting event attracts hundreds of visitors to our campus to explore new technologies and learn more about how technology can be used both in and out of the classroom.  We are asking that students, staff, and faculty please be aware of the parking impact of Ed Tech Day on both the event date and the preceding Wednesday, as described below.

In order to accommodate event set-up, vendor vehicles, and guest parking, the U-Lot (Campus Center lot), M-Lot (A&E Center lot), and Y-Lot (lot across 96B from the main campus entrance) will be dedicated exclusively to this event for extended periods of time.  U-Lot will be closed starting at 1 PM on Wednesday, March 22nd and will remain closed through the end of the business day on Thursday, March 23rd.  M-Lot and Y-Lot will be closed for the entirety of the day on Thursday, March 23rd.  While no other lots will be closed and reserved, should event parking exceed the capacity of the reserved event lots, additional guests will be directed to other campus parking options, so please be aware of the possibility of general diminished parking availability in other lots.

If these are lots you would typically park in, we ask that you utilize alternative lots during the times cited above.  We also encourage those who can to take advantage of the TCAT system and ride the bus to campus on Thursday, or consider other options if available such as carpools or being dropped off.  Please be aware that individuals requiring handicapped parking spaces in any reserved lot can continue to access those spaces by speaking directly with lot attendants.
