IC MY FUTURE RETIREMENT PLANNING EVENT
April 19 | Emerson Suites | 10am - 2:15pm

There will be 3 sets of concurrent education seminars available for you to choose from depending on what interests you and where you are at in the retirement planning process. Register for one of our 11:30am sessions at https://www.ithaca.edu/hr/benefits/retirement/icmyfuture

  • Paying Yourself: Income Options in Retirement (Suite A)
It’s time to consider a little payback. You’ve made a lot of sacrifices in order to put away enough money to retire. When it’s finally time, do you know how to get the money back? There are a lot of considerations, rules and tax implications that make these decisions very important and more complex.

  • Medicare & Social Security (Suite B)
This workshop will provide you answers to questions you have about Social Security and Medicare. The seminar will be more beneficial to you if you review your Social Security statement before coming to the session. Your free statement is available online through your my Social Security account at: www.socialsecurity.gov/myaccount

  • Estate Planning, Wills, and Trusts (Suite C)
Estate planning, wills and trusts go hand in hand. Feel secure about your belongings and sharing with your loved ones as you learn the importance of estate planning, how the process works, key assets to consider, definitions, and strategies

Visit https://www.ithaca.edu/hr/benefits/retirement/icmyfuture for information on all the retirement sessions and to register before April 10. Individuals with disabilities requiring accommodations should contact The Office of Human Resources at benefits@ithaca.edu or (607) 274-8000.
