Their work explores the strengths and drawbacks of using racial comedy media in teacher education. The analysis in this session extended the work of this undergraduate research team’s efforts towards forming an architecture of racial comedy pedagogy for anti-racist education, looking closely at the imperfections and controversies embedded in it. The student research team will present the next iteration of their work at the Whalen Symposium on April 13. |
