Are you a student organization or local organization rooted in social activism? Join other local organizations in celebration and promotion of your cause by coming to Ithaca College’s Who’s Rocking the Cradle night on Thursday, April 6 at 7PM, an exhibition of local social activist organizations. In addition, participating organizations get to experience our production of the 1937 musical, "The Cradle Will Rock" at a discounted rate. "The Cradle Will Rock" is a musical about labor unions, and corruption in industrial America. It is a foundational piece in our modern system of unions and protest, as it came during, and in response to, the Great Depression. In commemoration of these historic roots, we are inviting local social activist organizations to come to the show at a discounted rate, and promote their cause at a preshow lobby exhibit. There is also an opportunity to be featured on our Theatre Arts social media. For more information, please contact Sydney at shill3@ithaca.edu Dillingham Center proudly accommodates all patrons. Please call us at 607-274-3224 if you need help accessing any of our programs. |
