Consider taking Mental Health in Social and Historical Context (SOCI/PSYC 21700) online during May Term. Students in this diversity class explore the history of the mental health system, the ways it works and the ways it is broken.
We will dig into how the experience of having a mental illness differs based on a person's social situation and will consider ways to bring about change.
