The Human Rights Watch @ IC student group invites you to the Know Your Rights Workshop by Cornell Professor Mary Jo Dudley and Cornell Law Student Zachary Baum. The workshop will take place on Monday April 24th from 5:30 to 6:30pm in Friends 304.

Our panelists will go over:

  • An update on the executive orders and recent political and legal developments.
  • What to do if you encounter ICE.
  • International and domestic travel (for example, can CBP search my phone?).
  • Ithaca City and Tompkins County sanctuary policies.
  • DACA issues (financial aid, reapplying, or applying).
