Doug Freeman Named Director of Procurement

I am pleased to announce the appointment of Doug Freeman as the director of procurement.  Doug has served as Ithaca College’s Sourcing Manager since he arrived here in August of 2016.  He  has an in-depth knowledge of procurement and its related processes.  Prior to his arrival at Ithaca College, Doug served as the Director of Purchasing at Syracuse University for nine years.  He also served in other capacities at Syracuse University during his tenure. 

Doug assumed his new role on Monday, April 17th.  He will be responsible for developing, implementing, and tracking strategic sourcing initiatives along with his excellent team of professionals in Procurement, Warehouse, and Accounts Payable & Travel Services.

Doug  succeeds Dean Casterline, who recently left the college to pursue a new opportunity.
