The Department of Writing is looking for a student office assistant to begin in the fall 2017 semester. To apply, please stop by the Writing Department (430 Smiddy) to pick up an application or email Debbi DeWeese at ddeweese@ithaca.edu.

The Student Office Assistant will assist the department Administrative Assistant with daily tasks and needs. This may include office work such as copying, filing, and organization, picking up and distributing mail, running errands, creating posters for events, working with spreadsheets, and other tasks that change daily. The student will also assist the Department Chair and any Writing Department faculty as their needs arise. 

Required qualifications include Microsoft Word and Excel. Experience with Photoshop, InDesign, and Publisher is also preferred. Looking for someone who can work 10 hours/week. Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors may apply.
