Interested in disability awareness and advocacy? Want to give back on a local and national level? Join IC Autism Speaks U! Students of all majors welcome!

IC Autism Speaks U is Ithaca College's chapter for the national non-profit organization, Autism Speaks. Autism Speaks U is a program that supports students, faculty and alumni in their awareness, advocacy and fundraising efforts for Autism Speaks. This is a club for students who want to make a difference in the autism community!

We are looking for E-Board members! The positions open are:

VP of Finance

Establishes and maintains chapter’s bank account, keeps record of expenses and deposits, prepares annual/large event budgets, and deposits all funds raised and sends check to Autism Speaks U national office at the end of each semester.

VP of Events

Plans and executes chapter’s fundraising events, contacts clubs and organizations to partner on events, and selects chapter members to serve on fundraising committee for large events.

VP of Marketing & Membership

Creates plan that details how the chapter will get promoted on campus and in the community, posts on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, designs advertising materials, engages students who express interest in joining and informs students of upcoming meetings and events, and executes a strategic plan to market chapter to potential new members.
