Savoyards Ithaca To Present Gilbert & Sullivan's The SorcererContributed by John Fracchia on 04/27/17 On May 6 and May 7, Savoyards Ithaca will present Gilbert & Sullivan's two-act comic opera, The Sorcerer. Based on Gilbert's Christmas tale, "The Elixir of Love," The Sorcerer tells the story of what happens when a love potion causes everyone in town to fall in love with the first person that they see! The performances will be held in Martha Hamblin Hall located on the third floor of the Community School of Music and Arts, 303 East State Street, Ithaca. Tickets are $15 general admission/$10 students and are available online at www.savoyardsithaca.org, or at the door. Show times are as follows:
