Description:
Parking and Visitor Engagement Assistant needed to patrol and monitor assigned parking lots beginning Fall 2017

Duties & Responsibilities:
Patrol and monitor assigned parking lots on foot and with the Parking Services vehicles, in all types of weather conditions, issuing tickets to violators of parking regulations by means of a handheld computer unit and hand written citations. Student will be trained in and required to operate a portable radio to communicate with Parking Services, and will assist with towing procedure as assigned. Student will assist visitors in the Visitor and Parking Information Booth by welcoming them to campus, providing general campus information and directions as well as issuing appropriate parking permits. Student may be required to assist with traffic control during special events. Support Parking Services and Public Safety with other duties as required. 

Required Qualifications:
Promptness and dependability; Strong interpersonal skills; Ability to work independently.

Various shift available Monday - Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Must be available to work a minimum of 2 hours per shift.
Early arrival will be required for training on August 24-25, 2017.
