Submitted on behalf of Brian Dickens, Vice President for Human Resources As communicated in early March, the College has engaged Sibson Consulting (a Human Resources consulting firm that is nationally recognized in Higher Education), to reassess and update the staff compensation program and provide a high-level review of health benefits, retirement, and other pay-related policies. To launch this project, members of the Sibson consulting team visited campus and met with various representative groups to begin to understand current perspectives around the College’s compensation and benefits programs. At that time, we indicated that our employees would have an opportunity to participate in this data gathering phase of the project through an on-line survey.
We are pleased to announce this survey has been developed in partnership with the Human Resources team and with input from the Staff Counsel Benefits Committee. It is now available to our employees. The survey responses will be confidential as the survey is being hosted by Sibson Consulting and will be compiled and analyzed by their team. We strongly encourage all staff to participate in this survey, as individual input is highly valuable and will be used to inform the total compensation philosophy and potential program changes. The survey can be accessed at the link below: http://www.surveygizmo.com/s3/3479034/Compensation-Survey. The questions in the survey should take approximately 15 – 20 minutes to complete and the submission deadline is Monday, May 29, 2017. We are excited and appreciate your support as we embark on this important initiative. We will keep you informed of our progress through regular updates. Please feel free to contact Cindy Reckdenwald at (4-3850) or Maura Fetsko at (4-3483) if we can provide any additional information or answer any questions. |
