The Network and Unified Communications team with assistance from two third party partners will be replacing outdated network equipment in several buildings on campus between Monday May 22nd and Friday May 26th. Once complete, network services will be more reliable and ready to accommodate additional bandwidth.

These buildings were originally scheduled to be completed over spring break, but due to the snowstorm were rescheduled to be completed after commencement. During the times detailed below, network services will be unavailable to the buildings identified.

Monday May 22nd
Smiddy Hall: Start Time: 12:00pm, Estimated End Time: 5:00pm
Whalen Hall: Start Time: 12:00pm, Estimated End Time: 5:00pm
A&E Center: Start Time: 7:00am, Estimated End Time: 2:00pm

Tuesday May 23rd
Muller Hall: Start Time: 6:00am, Estimated End Time: 12:00pm
Friends Hall: Start Time: 1:00pm, Estimated End Time: 5:00pm
Egbert Hall 3rd Floor (Campus Center): Start Time: 6:00am, Estimated End Time: 10:00am
Hill Center: Start Time: 5:00pm, Estimated End Time: 12:00am

Wednesday May 24th
Job Hall: Start Time: 6:00pm, Estimated End Time: 4:00am
Rothschild Place: Start Time: 5:00pm, Estimated End Time: 2:00am
Egbert Hall Snack Bar: Start Time: 5:00pm, Estimated End Time: 2:00am

Thursday May 25th
Park School of Communications: Start Time: 5:30pm, Estimated End Time: 1:30am

If after the equipment in your building has been replaced you are having problems accessing the network, please contact the DIIS Service Desk.
