Call for Abstracts - The Global Business of Aging (Atlanta, GA; March 2018)Contributed by Elizabeth Bergman on 05/18/17 Ithaca College is a member institution of the Association for Gerontology in Higher Education. In 2018, their Annual Meeting and Educational Leadership Conference (Atlanta, GA; March 1-4, 2018) theme is "The Global Business of Aging." Researchers and policy analysts recognize that the increasing numbers of older adults have high economic value as contributors to the global economy. The extension of healthy life by 30+ years requires reframing the perception of older adults in purposeful activities. This shift offers many possibilities to engage businesses to invest and innovate in products and services in the longevity economy across the globe.
