P- Lot to be closed beginning Thursday, July 6th for Accessibility Improvement ProjectContributed by Lynn Hyde on 06/29/17 The following message is being provided on behalf of Ernie McClatchie, Director of Maintenance, Grounds and Transportation:
P-Lot, the small lot located to the south of the Peggy Ryan Williams Center, will be closed beginning on Thursday, July 6th to allow for accessibility improvement work to take place. There will be a partial closure of the lot on Wednesday, July 5th. The work will include improved accessibility spaces and changes in elevations of walkways and paths of travel.
During construction, individuals needing accessible parking are asked to use the spaces in E-Lot (North of Textor Hall) and use the walkway to the West. During construction, the Southwest entrance to the Garden level of PRWC will remain open and accessible from F-Lot and points West. The main entrance to the first floor on the South side of the building will only be accessible from the East, off of the Benefactor plaza. The Northeast entry to Dillingham will also be accessible from this entry point, while the Northwest entry will be closed. Signage will be in place to assist campus community members and visitors. Any questions or concerns can be directed to the Office of Facilities at (607) 274-3225. We appreciate your understanding as we work to make these important improvements.
