The first time pass rate on the national boards for athletic training practice reaches 112 consecutive students from Ithaca College's Athletic Training Education Program

Starting with the class of 2011 (n=22), the Athletic Training Education Program at Ithaca College has now had 112 consecutive students pass their Board of Certification Examination on the very first attempt! For 7 years running, the program has not had one single student fail the entry-level professional certification examination. The national average for this time period is about 80%.

Congrats to all 17 members of the Class of 2017 for their successes, and thank you to all the faculty, mentors and clinical preceptors that helped all of these students achieve their goals of becoming Certified Athletic Trainers (ATCs)!
