The Office of International Programs and Extended Studies would like to invite interested faculty, staff and students to join the Ithaca College International Students Friendship Network. We are looking for dedicated IC students, faculty and staff to serve as Cultural Partners for our new international students.

The primary goals of the International Student Friendship Network are to welcome the new international students to campus, to create a supportive environment for our international students, and to foster a global mindset in U.S. students, faculty and staff through meaningful interaction and shared experiences with international students. We are looking for people who:

  • Have an interest in learning about other cultures and global events
  • Have a strong desire to help others
  • Are interested in showing people around IC and Ithaca
  • Are interested in sharing U.S. culture
  • Are IC undergraduates (sophomore, junior or senior year), graduate students, faculty or staff members.

If you are interested, please complete the program application online.  Please note that the link will take you to our secure website; click on the Register/Apply button on the right, and you will be invited to log in with your IC Netpass credentials.  After you select the term you are applying for, you will be able to see the International Students Friendship Network Application on the right, in the Application Materials box.  Please answer the questions on the form and we will be in touch with you.

If you have questions about the program, please contact Diana Dimitrova at ddimitrova@ithaca.edu .

Thank you for your interest in this program!
