Isolated Campus Power Outages to be Expected on 7/26 and 7/27Contributed by Lynn Hyde on 07/25/17 The following message is being posted on behalf of Ernie McClatchie, Director of Maintenance, Grounds and Transportation: The Office of Facilities will be conducting electrical work on the mornings of Wednesday, July 26th and Thursday, July 27th between the hours of 4:00am and 7:00am. The work that will be performed to the underground electrical infrastructure will result in isolated power outages to the following buildings during this time period. The affected buildings are as follows: Center for Health Sciences Hill Center Smiddy Hall Ford Hall Whalen Center Gannett Center Phillips Hall Williams Hall Egbert Hall Muller Chapel During the outages, emergency power will be provided by the emergency generators and electrical staff will be on site to ensure utility power is restored by 7:00am. It is the advice of our colleagues in IT that all computers and printers be unplugged before these interruptions.
