The Office of Student Engagement and Multicultural Affairs (OSEMA) would like to congratulate Theresa Johnson on her new position as Director of Student Engagement at American International College in Springfield, MA!

Theresa has served as the Assistant Director of Student Involvement at Ithaca College since July 2010, where she has advised the Bureau of Concerts, IC AfterDark, and the Student Activities Board, overseeing hundreds of co-curricular and social events for students on campus. Theresa has developed and enhanced many programs during her tenure at IC, including the Student Organization Conference, Student Organization Recognition, Student Activities Center tenant program, Leading @ IC series, Club Hub, and IC Kicks Back. We sincerely appreciate all of the time and energy Theresa has committed to leading a comprehensive program for student organizations, their officers, and advisers. OSEMA will be hosting a celebration for Theresa on Tuesday, August 8 from 3:30-5:00pm in the Student Activities Center on the 3rd floor of Campus Center. You are invited to attend and wish Theresa farewell and good luck!

Theresa’s last day on campus will be August 9. A search is currently underway for a new Assistant Director of Student Involvement and we anticipate having a new person on board in October. While the position is vacant, please contact OSEMA at osema@ithaca.edu or 607-274-3222 with any questions or issues regarding student organizations. You will be directed to the appropriate person who will be covering the area of responsibility you are inquiring about. Thank you for your patience during this time of transition.
