Information Technology and Travel Services are currently working on a new online Travel Authorization process designed for IC Workflow. This will eliminate the existing paper process.

Travelers or travel arrangers will be able to log in with their Netpass credentials and complete travel authorizations for domestic and international travel. Please note that international travelers will still be required to register their trip with the Office of International Programs in addition to completing the new Travel Authorization Form.  

Individuals completing the form will select the appropriate Departmental Coordinators and Authorized Approver(s), and upon submission, the request will be electronically routed for review.

 Highlights of this new process:

• Automatic emails will be sent to each approver when a request is awaiting their review.
• When the review process is complete, all individuals selected on the form, including the traveler and/or submitter will receive an email notification containing a PDF of the final request.
• All requests for Cash Advances must be submitted using this new online process.
• The online approval process will be more efficient and sustainable.

We are in the final stages of testing this new process and anticipate it going live in the near future. Please continue to use the current paper form until the next notification is posted to Intercom. Travelers who have completed a paper form prior to the release of the new online process will not be required to re-submit.
