Do you know a student who has just done something remarkable? Give them the attention they deserve by submitting their stories to Merit, a service that lets Ithaca College share news of its students’ successes with their families, friends, and local communities.

When you submit an achievement to Merit, a congratulatory email is sent to the student and their family members. They are also added to the student’s personal Merit page, which the student can use to build their resumes and share their activities on social media. The news can even be passed along to local media in the student’s hometown.

Some examples of accomplishments that can be shared through Merit include, but are not limited to:

• Receiving an award
• Doing community service
• Landing an internship
• Participating in a club or activity
• Presenting research at a conference
• Performing in a concert or play

Submitting an achievement through Merit is easy. Just follow this link and fill out the short form to recommend a story. All you need is the student’s name and a short description of their accomplishment.
