Congratulations to Michael 'Bodhi' Rogers (Department of Physics & Astronomy) for his recognition as the 2017 Outstanding Chapter Advisor for the Ithaca College Chapter of SPS

The Society of Physics Students was formed in 1968 and now has over 800 chapters on campuses across the country.

SPS is a professional association explicitly designed for students and their advisers. Membership, through collegiate chapters, is open to anyone interested in physics. It is a chapter based society that exists to help students transform themselves into contributing members of the professional community.

Professor Rogers will be recognized at the upcoming National Council Meeting and officially awarded with the presentation of the Oersted Medal Award for Outstanding Chapter Advisor during the Winter 2018 AAPT meeting in San Diego, California.
