Travel Services is pleased to announce that the current paper Travel Authorization Form (TAF) has been replaced with an online form in IC Workflow, effective immediately.

Travelers or travel arrangers can log in with their Netpass credentials and complete travel authorizations for domestic and international travel.  Please note that international travelers will still be required to register their trip with the Office of International Programs in addition to completing the new Travel Authorization Form.

Individuals completing the form will select the appropriate Departmental Coordinators and Authorized Approver(s), and upon submission, the request will be electronically routed for review.

Highlights of this new process:

• Automatic emails will be sent to each approver when a request is awaiting their review.
• When the review process is complete, all individuals selected on the form, including the traveler and/or submitter will receive an email notification containing a PDF of the final request.
• All requests for Cash Advances must be submitted using this new online process.
• The online approval process will be more efficient and sustainable.

Please start using this workflow immediately. Travelers who have completed a paper form prior to the release of the new online process will not be required to re-submit. However, you may if you would like to update your form’s submission date to reflect the reporting capabilities in the current fiscal year. Please Note:  Firefox, Chrome, Safari, and Microsoft Edge are the recommended browsers for working with online TAFs.  Internet Explorer has known compatibility issues and is not recommended.
