Tim Reynolds, a lab instructor within the Department of Exercise and Sports Sciences, was recently granted a US Patent for his invention, KettleShell. 

Reynolds, a 2014 graduate from Ithaca College's Doctor of Physical Therapy Program, came up with the idea of the KettleShell while preparing for the Ithaca College Business School's Business Idea Competition. His product is an adapter for dumbbells which allows individuals to utilize dumbbells in a kettlebell-like fashion, increasing the utilization of preexisting workout equipment.
