This Friday night, September 1, we will have a fireworks show at about 9:30 p.m. as part of the First Bomber Weekend festivities.  Because the fireworks will be shot from the lower campus playing fields, a portion of Grant Egbert Boulevard falls within the safety radius that must be closed during the show.  Therefore, there will be a brief road closure from about 10 minutes prior to the start of the show until the time the area is cleared after the show ends.

Individuals with vehicles parked in lots that normally exit onto the closed section of the road will have alternate routes available to exit the lot and leave campus at any time, including during the closure.  Public Safety staff will be on hand to provide guidance on alternate routes to anyone needing to detour around the closed section of road.  Thank you for your understanding of any brief inconvenience that may be experienced, and enjoy the fireworks!
