 “Dream and Legacy: Dr. Martin Luther King in the Post-Civil Rights Era,” published by the University of Mississippi Press, will include a chapter by Donathan Brown, associate professor of communication studies.  The chapter focuses on voting rights. 

The book covers a range of social policy issues (e.g., voting rights, health care, housing).  It adopts both a multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary approach to current issues through the philosophical lens of Dr. King. The book has already gathered endorsements from scholars in Political Science and English, along with recognition from the Journal of Blacks in Higher Education.
