The Red Flag Campaign - Wednesday, September 20, 2017 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM

The Red Flag Campaign is a community-level strategy designed to build bystander intervention skills and prevent sexual assault and dating violence at Ithaca College, sponsored by The Office of Student Engagement and Multicultural Affairs (OSEMA).

Tony Porter is an author, educator, and activist working to advance social justice issues. As the co-founder of A CALL TO MEN, Tony is internationally recognized for his efforts to prevent violence while promoting a healthy, respectful manhood. Tony’s 2010 TED Talk has been named by GQ Magazine as one of the “Top 10 TED Talks Every Man Should See.” 

 

Pathways Training - Tuesday, September 12, 2017 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM

Pathways is a mental health crisis prevention and intervention program offered by Counseling and Psychological Services. The goal of Pathways is to reduce the incidence of crises by building knowledge, confidence and skills to help you: - identify a potential mental health crisis. - initiate a conversation with someone at risk. - ask directly about suicidal thoughts. - make referrals to appropriate resources.
