Danine Chaires, the Operations Manager with Ithaca College Dining Services, has accepted a new position with Sodexo Campus Services at the University of Albany. 

This will present Danine with an excellent opportunity to utilize her 20 plus years of hospitality industry experience in her new role of Operations Manager – Retail Operations.

Danine has a long history of work and service at Ithaca College, and has been a member of the campus community for 15 years. Danine has served as Ithaca College’s Catering Manager, Tower Club Manager and Operations Manager. Danine also briefly worked at Wells College as General Manager Dining Services. In her most recent role as Operations Manager, Danine covered a wide range of residential dining, retail dining and catering responsibilities.

Danine has been an amazing colleague to so many of us. Her energy and enthusiasm for her work is unmatched. She has demonstrated an ability to support everyone she works with tireless energy.

We will miss Danine and are sure that she will be successful in her future endeavors. We in Ithaca College Dining welcome the opportunity to continue to collaborate with Danine with future projects and events.
