 Attend an info session this week and apply to be an Resident Assistant by Sunday, October 1!  Applications are still open for students to apply to be an RA for the Spring 2018 semester in the Residential Life portal on OrgSync. 

 

In order to be considered for employment, all applicants must attend an RA Information Session, submit an online application, and receive two references.  One from a current RA or another RA that is able to speak to your candidacy, the second may be from a former supervisor or staff/faculty member.

As mentioned all applicants must attend an RA Information Session to be eligible for the position. Upcoming information session dates are as follows:

  • Monday 9/25, 7pm – Ithaca Falls Room, Campus Center
  • Tuesday 9/26, 4pm – Terrace 3 TV Lounge
  • Wednesday 9/27, 5pm – Circles Community Center
  •  Friday 9/29, 5pm – Terrace 7 TV Lounge

Applications are due on Sunday, October 1, 2017, by 11:59 p.m. and candidate references are due on Monday, October 9, 2017.  Candidates are expected to attend the following components of the selection process:

  • Attend group process on Friday, October 27th, from 5pm-8pm.
  • Attend an interview with multiple RAs and professional staff members on Friday, November 10th between 9am and 5pm.
  • Pick up RA offer letters, available on Monday, November 27, 2017 at 12:00 noon.
  • Attend a department welcome on Wednesday, December 6 at 7pm.
  • Return early for RA Training in January, which begins at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 11, 2018.
