Karen Wheeler, the financial operations manager in the Park School, is retiring and we would like to invite the campus community to join us in celebrating her more than 3 decades of stellar work at a reception on Tuesday October 10 from 4-6 in Park 223.

Karen has held a number of positions at IC, beginning with administrative assistant work in communications before we were named the Park School and were still in the basement of Dillingham.  She also served as an executive assistant to the Vice President of College Relations and Advancement before returning to Park to support the deans' office for financial operations, contracts, and personnel matters.   Karen will be moving to the state of Washington to be near family and will enjoy more time on the road with her husband.
