The Ithaca College Chapter of Phi Kappa Phi has extended the deadline to nominate PKP student members for a Presidential Scholar Award and new Faculty/Staff members for PKP to Thursday 10/12, 12 noon.

To nominate a student member of PKP for a Presidential Scholar Award, send 1) a letter of recommendation addressing both the student’s breadth, as well as depth, of activities 2), a current unofficial transcript, and 3) a copy of the student’s resume to phikappaphi@ithaca.edu. With respect to depth, each letter should explicitly address why the nominee’s activities would be considered meritorious in her/his field; how her/his performance and activities contrast with her/his peer group; and how her/his peer group is defined

To nominate a faculty or staff member for membership in Phi Kappa Phi, send a cover letter of support and a current vitae of the faculty / staff member to phikappaphi@ithaca.edu. Faculty / Staff should have records of outstanding achievement and distinguished themselves professionally.  Nominees must have a minimum of tree full years of service at Ithaca College.  Faculty / Staff nominations can only be made by current Phi Kappa Phi Members, Deans, the Provost, or the President.

The Deadline of Nominations is Thursday 10/12 at 12 noon.
