Need a little more calm, focus and mindfulness in your day? Learning and practicing skills to quiet the busy mind has been shown to bring benefits for mood, health, life satisfaction and productivity. Even just a few minutes a day is helpful. Whether you're curious about how to meditate, trying to get started with a regular meditation practice or maybe an experienced meditator, everyone is welcome! Come join us for open meditation every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from noon to 1:00 in the IC Chapel. Come anytime during the hour and stay as long as you like. We sit for 50 minutes and provide some guided meditation at the beginning of each session - particularly helpful for those new to meditation.
