The Office of Student Engagement and Multicultural Affairs is excited to announce that Mary Holland-Bavis will be joining our team on October 16 as the Assistant Director of Student Involvement!

As the ADSI, Mary will work with recognized student organizations to provide programming and policy support, leadership development for officers and members, and training for club advisers. She will oversee campus-wide programming initiatives, such as IC Kicks Back and Cortaca alternative programming, and advises organizations such as IC AfterDark, Student Activities Board, and Bureau of Concerts. Mary has over eight years of experience working with student organizations and leadership programs, most recently at Syracuse University.

You can meet Mary when you attend the Student Activities Open House on Wednesday, October 25 from 11:00am-2:00pm. Just stop by the third floor of Campus Center during that time, and you can also meet the student organizations that are SAC tenants and participate in the fun events at the Open House.

A tremendous thank you goes out to the Student Leadership Consultants and OSEMA staff who have been working to cover the ADSI responsibilities during the two months this position has been vacant. We are all looking forward to Mary taking on this important role that provides opportunities for all IC students to be involved in co-curricular learning experiences.

Any questions or requests for accommodations can be directed to OSEMA@ithaca.edu or 607-274-3222.
